- HIGHLANDS - Opponents of the Highlands-Sea Bright bridge replacement were handed a substantial defeat last Monday when Superior Court Judge Lawrence M. Lawson denied an injunction that would have prevented the state Department of Transportation (NJDOT) and its designated construction contractor from demolishing the bridge.
